- Abstract:
- Cossus cossus Linnaeus is the major pest damaging walnut trees. The research analyzed the reasons why the damage caused by Cossus cossus Linnaeus strengthened and developed the measures to control them. Cossus cossus Linnaeus occurs one generation in two years, with larva population feeding on barks and xylem of walnut trees, which makes the trees weakened or even died. Measures like forest management, physical control, and chemical control are effective.
