- Abstract:
- As a rapidly developing field, the application of magnetic nanomaterials has penetrated into all aspects of production and life. Due to its advantages such as large surface area, surface functionalization, and easy recovery, it has attracted increasing attention in wastewater treatment. In the removal of water pollutants, the magnetic nanoparticles(MNPs)have a fast adsorption rate, high removal efficiency, and easy separation properties. Compared with traditional adsorbents, they show great superiority. This study focused on the important applications of MNPs in wastewater purification, including adsorption of heavy metal ions, removal of dyes, pesticides, and degradation of other organic compounds.
