At present, most of the utility tunnel planning path in China are based on qualitative analysis of policies and regulations, and few on quantitative studies. Taking the planning of utility tunnel in Puyang City of Henan Province as an example, this paper introduced the method of multi factor analysis to scientifically and rationally determine the planning path of utility tunnel and proposed weight method based on multiple linear regression to solve the problem of using empirical value as weight value of different factors without scientific basis, which could provide reference for similar projects.
