- Abstract:
- The current drainage system of the Guangzhou Machong River basin was intercepting combined drainage system, and the overflow pollution was serious in rainy season. In order to improve the water quality of Machong River， the project of Machong River bottom regulation system was implemented， and the target of overflow pollution collection in rainy season is 8-10 mm initial rainwater. Because there were no conditions for the construction of storage facilities on both sides of the river, and the overflow outlets were linearly distributed along the river, four storage tanks were constructed in the bottom of the river, which was connected with large-diameter bottom pipes in series. Inflow wells were set at each overflow outlet, which can effectively alleviate the overflow pollution problem of Machong River basin.
