- Abstract:
- Combining the need of low impact development (LID) construction and mitigating the risk of urban flooding, an integrated flood model based on InfoWorks ICM was constructed by taking a typical urban area—the Wanquan River watershed as an example. With reference to the local standards of Beijing, the proportion of 70% permeable pavements was kept unchanged, and LID spatial layout of sunken green land and rainwater storage tank were optimized by using improved analytic hierarchy process. The results showed that the LID measures could reduce runoff and mitigate waterlogging. At the same time, the security and economic benefits were comprehensively considered, and the optimized combination scheme was obtained, which was “70% sunken green land + 70% permeable pavement+ rainwater storage tanks with a volume of 30 m3 per thousand square meters of the impervious areas”. After implementation of the optimized combination scheme, average reduction rate of total runoff volume was 41.70%, average reduction rate of peak flow was 40.16%, average reduction rate of total water volume was 61.08%, average reduction rate of the waterlogging area was 56.74%, and economic cost was 482 million yuan per year.
