Abstract:
Application of ultraviolet disinfection technology in secondary water supply was introduced, and an ultraviolet disinfection experiment for secondary water supply was conducted. The results showed that，ultraviolet disinfection slightly reduced the residual chlorine in the secondary water supply, but the residual chlorine content still met the limit requirements of Standards for Drinking Water Quality (GB 5749-2006). When the ultraviolet radiation dose was within 80 mJ/cm2, the functional groups of some organic compounds in the water only slightly changed. Ultraviolet disinfection had almost no effect on concentration and formation of disinfection by-products (DBPs) in the secondary water supply system.
