- In view of the existing problems of sponge city management platform based on two-dimensional charts, such as difficulty in visual display, information gap and inefficiency, we analyzed the deficiency of two-dimensional sponge city management platform from the characteristics of sponge city. Combining with the feasibility analysis of BIM technology application, we mainly investigated three-dimensional visualization technology of sponge city operation and maintenance based on BIM. The technical points included three-dimensional model precise creation of sponge city, facility maintenance and reconstruction, monitor early-warning of facility, three-dimensional dynamic simulation of urban water logging. The case practice showed that BIM technology could achieve the three-dimensional visualization of sponge city operation and maintenance management, and promoted the fine management and control level of sponge city operation and maintenance.
