- Abstract:
- The design scale of a wastewater treatment plant upgrading project in Hebei Province remains 5×104 m3/d. In full use of the original structures and equipment, the original CWSBR (constant water level SBR) process was transformed into modified A2/O process, and the degassing zone, postanoxic zone and post-aerobic zone were set up to enhance the biological nitrogen and phosphorus removal. In addition to removing inorganic components in the SS, the quality of the carbon source was improved and the internal carbon source was fully utilized in the newly-built primary sedimentation/fermentation tank. The advanced treatment process of high efficiency sedimentation tank, deep bed filter and advanced oxidation tank was added to enhance the removal of SS, TP, TN, organic matter and chroma in the secondary biological treatment effluent, so that the discharge standard of the wastewater treatment plant was upgraded from the first level A standard to the surface water class Ⅳ standard (TN is less than 15 mg/L).
