- Membrane technology is widely used in landfill leachate treatment, however, it is difficult to reduce the moisture content of residual sludge to below 60%. It is realized by the method of plate and frame filter press combined with organic coagulant through productive demonstration at Laogang landfill leachate emergency treatment plant, after testing a variety of chemical conditions. Among them, the polyamine method has the lowest operation cost of about 600-750 yuan/tDS. This method solves the problem of reducing the moisture content of residual sludge to below 60% in membrane treatment of leachate and can be widely used in similar projects.
