Comparative Selection for Water Resources Utilization Proposal of Venues in Beijing Winter Olympic Games Yanqing Zone

- This article mainly introduces the water resources supply and demand situation of Beijing Winter Olympic Games Yanqing zone, and comparably selects the water resources utilization schemes. The analysis of water resources based on the scale of the whole year shows that Beijing Winter Olympic Games Yanqing zone will need 570 900 m3 of water from the outside during the Olympic year, including 471 100 m3 of surface water and 99 800 m3 of tap-water. In the non-Olympic year, simply 163 500 m3 of tap-water will be diverted to the venues, which is enough to the requirement. Based on the daily analysis of water resources utilization planning suggestions, it shows that in the separate scheme, the reuse rate of the reclaimed water system, snowmelt water and rainwater system in the non-Olympic year is only 26.01%, which is far lower than 56.85% of the reclaimed water system, snowmelt water and rainwater system in the unified regulation and storage scheme. Therefore, from the perspective of water resources management, water environment construction and venue operation, a more effective unified storage and regulation scheme is proposed for the utilization of water resources.
