- The group standard Technical Guidelines for Monitoring and Early Warning of Urban Water Quality (T/CECS 20010-2021) has been approved and issued by China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization, and formally implemented on September 1, 2021. This paper introduced the compilation background, compilation and research process, main contents of the guide, and the popularization and application of monitoring and early warning technology. In addition, the constitution of monitoring and early warning technology and the research process of single index and multi index monitoring and early warning methods based on common water quality risk early warning application scenarios were elaborated in detail. The guide comprehensively summarizes the monitoring and early warning technology of urban water supply quality and business process, which lays a foundation for the establishment of water quality monitoring and early warning technology system suitable for the requirements of urban water supply safety in China. Formal implementation and application of the guide will help to improve the standardization of monitoring and early warning of urban water quality and provide technical support for ensuring the safety of urban water quality.
