- Coking wastewater has the characteristics of complex composition, high ammonia nitrogen and high concentration of organic matter. The scale of a wastewater treatment process of a coking industrial park in Shanxi Province is 3 000 m3/d, which consists of oil removal, flotation, regulation, anaerobic treatment, two-stage A/O, secondary sedimentation tank, coagulation precipitation, mechanical filtration, ultrafiltration, resin softening, organic matter removal and two-stage reverse osmosis. When the COD and NH3-N in influent are 3 000-5 000 mg/L and 200-280 mg/L, the COD and NH3-N in effluent are 3-8 mg/L and 1-2 mg/L, respectively. And the effluent quality reaches the supplementary water limit for reclaimed water used in indirect cooling open circulating cooling water system specified in Code for Design of Industrial Recirculating Cooling Water Treatment (GB/T 50050-2017), and all the reclaimed water is recycled. The high-salt concentrated water produced by the system is treated by three-effect evaporation crystallization systems, and the crystalline salt is uniformly treated by external cooperation outsides the park, so as to realize near-zero discharge of coking wastewater.
