- Abstract:
- The treatment scale of a wastewater treatment plant phase-Ⅱ expansion project in Guangdong is 15×104 m3/d, and the initial rainwater treatment scale is 35×104 m3/d. Considering the factors such as small footprint, low investment and operation stability, the modified A2/O process was selected as the main wastewater treatment process, while the advanced treatment process and disinfection were V-type filter and sodium hypochlorite disinfection, respectively. The sludge disposal process was low temperature thermal drying. The initial rainwater was treated by high-efficiency sedimentation tank. The design effluent quality of the wastewater is required to meet the stricter of the first level A criteria specified in Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (GB 18918-2002) and first level criteria specified in a local standard of Guangdong Province Discharge Limits of Water Pollutants (DB 44/26-2001), while the design effluent quality of the initial rainwater is required to meet the third level criteria specified in Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (GB 18918-2002). Actual operation shows that the effluent qualities reach the design standards completely.
