- Abstract:
- A wastewater treatment plant with a scale of 45×104 m3/d was rebuilt in a different place, and the discharge standard was raised from first level B limit to quasi class Ⅳ limit. The treatment process of the new plant was characterized by high sludge concentration, high effluent quality and reliability, which consisted of rapid sedimentation tank, multi-stage AO, rectangular peripheral-feed peripheral-overflow secondary clarifier, DN biofilter, high-efficiency clarifier, V-type filter, ozone catalytic oxidation and UV disinfection. The total design scale of the project was 60×104 m3/d (phase Ⅰ project was 45×104 m3/d), the footprint area was 33 hm2, and the investment of phase Ⅰ project was 1.679 billion yuan. The actual operational results showed that each index in effluent stably met the A limit specified in the Tianjin local discharge standard (quasi class Ⅳ standard). The process was effective in treating wastewater to meet a high discharge standard in northern China. The actual unit power consumption was 0.27 kW·h/m3, and the operating cost was approximately 1.31 yuan/m3, indicating that the wastewater treatment plant was energy consumption and environmentally friendly.
