- Abstract:
- To protect people’s health and ensure economic and social development, Jiangsu Province has built a water supply security system of “standby water source, advanced treatment, strict detection, and early warning and emergency” after nearly 20 years of exploration and efforts. The “Four Full Coverage” including emergency water source construction, tap water deep treatment, secondary water supply facilities transformation and urban-rural regional water supply has been realized. The Control Standards of the Key Water Quality Index for Urban Water Plants in Jiangsu Province(DB 32/T 3701-2019) and Technical Specifications for Water Quality Detection Capacity Construction of Water Supply Enterprises in Urban and Rural Areas（T/JSWA 002-2020） have been successively issued to further achieve the goal of “supplying high-quality water in normal time and qualified water in emergency time”in the new era. The standards aim at standardizing the operation and management of water plants in counties and cities, strengthening the water quality control in the production process and improving the water supply quality. The main contents and implementation practice of the above standards and specifications were introduced in this paper.
