- Suzhou hi-tech sewage treatment plant is a relocation project with a design scale of 10×104 m3/d. Its treatment process consists of A2O process, double deck horizontal flow sedimentation tank and advanced treatment, which reduces the impact of sewage plant operation on the surrounding environment through the underground construction mode. As a special form of horizontal flow sedimentation tank, double deck horizontal flow sedimentation tank has the following features: high treatment load and land saving. This paper introduced the design parameters, general layout, upstream and downstream connection and water distribution mode in the sedimentation area. On the basis of using the limited space, the water distribution of the sedimentation tank was uniform and the operation was stable. The footprint area of this project was only 45% of the construction standard, and the land release was 4.2 hm2, realizing the goal of saving land and comprehensive investment.
