- Bianjianzhan multi-functional storage tank in Zhenjiang City is a three-storey joint structure consisting of a storage tank, a drainage pump tank, an underground parking garage and an open park, and its operational scheme is interception, regulation and on-line transfer. The initial rainwater is intercepted to the storage tank through the interception well, and then discharged to the sewage sewer network by the built-in sewage pump after the rain, so as to reduce the initial rainwater overflow pollution in this area. The middle and late rainwater is discharged to the storm sewer network through the built-in drainage pump to solve the waterlogging problem in this area. The project makes rational use of underground space and cleverly combines with the surrounding environment, which also provides public services such as parking garage and open park. During commissioning and operation, the following measures were adopted according to the problems occurred in operation: replacing the grille equipment, adding sludge sedimentation wells, adding compact silt washing facilities before the inlet, repairing the vacuum flushing system and so on. Four years of stable operation has proved that the storage tank can effectively solve the problems of runoff pollution and regional waterlogging, and improve the urban environment.
