- The construction of high quality household drinking water project is an important means to solve the non-standard management problem of “last mile” and “middle layer of water supply”in urban water supply. However, in the implementing process, there are often problems such as incomplete layout of reconstruction project, chaotic management and unclear reconstruction scope. Taking Bao’an District in Shenzhen as an example, we elaborate the experience of the previous reconstruction of high quality household drinking water project. Through establishing the community list and file, and combined with GIS information means, we carry out a comprehensive and systematic innovative management of high quality household drinking water project. On this basis, we establish the evaluation model of drinking water network and secondary water supply facilities in urban residential area to evaluate the scope of reconstruction, and ensure reasonable reconstruction and accurate investment.
