- Abstract:
- Polyethylene glycol solution dialysis can effectively remove the water in the sludge and achieve deep dewatering. However, its effective dewatering range is limited, and it is difficult to be directly applied to the industrial dewatering of sludge. Therefore, the experiment of polyethylene glycol solution dialysis combined with vacuum pressure for sludge dewatering was further designed to analyze the large-scale sludge dewatering performance under the combined action of multiple fields. The vacuum pressure significantly improved the effective dewatering range of polyethylene glycol solution dialysis. When the vacuum pressure was 80 kPa, the effective influence distance of polyethylene glycol solution dialysis was increased to 15.2 cm, which was 181% higher than that without vacuum pressure. The dewatered sludge was observed by scanning electron microscope and optical microscope. Vacuum pressure compacted the sludge structure and hindered the formation of cracks during the dewatering process of polyethylene glycol solution dialysis, which was beneficial to the smooth flow of the drainage channel and improve the dewatering performance and effectiveness.
