Abstract:
Under the background of China’s commitment to achieve the peak carbon value by 2030, how to reduce carbon emissions in the field of sludge treatment and disposal is a problem that must be considered and faced. In recent years, quorum sensing technology has achieved certain results in reducing in-suit sludge production, improving the anaerobic digestion capacity of sludge and recovering sludge resources and energy, which provided some new idea for research filed of carbon emission reduction in sludge treatment and disposal. By reviewing the previous research status of quorum sensing technology in the field of sludge and the achievements in carbon emission reduction, combined with the characteristics of sludge and the development of current sludge treatment and disposal technology, and the future development direction of carbon emission reduction were put forward.
