Abstract:
Ningbo Jiangdong waterworks completed membrane process transformation in 2016 to effectively improve the quality of drinking water. The original siphon filter was transformed into immersed ultrafiltration membrane tank with a total capacity of 20×104 m3/d, which effectively improved the effluent quality and provided a demonstration for the upgrading of the waterworks. According to the actual operation of the waterworks for many years, the operation mode of ultrafiltration membrane, including filtration water production and chemical cleaning for maintenance and recovery were explored. The process was optimized and the reasonable operation parameters were determined, which provides a reference for the application of ultrafiltration membrane technology in the transformation, operation and maintenance of the old waterworks.
