- The scale of the advanced treatment project of a new waterworks in Fuzhou is 20×104 m3/d, and the scale of the equipment is 10×104 m3/d, among which the main equipment is relocated from the existing old waterworks. After upgrading and reconstruction of the new waterworks, a combined process consisting of coagulation, sedimentation, sand filtration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis and chlorine disinfection is adopted on the basis of the current conventional water purification process. Several transcendental pipes are set in the process flow, which realize flexible scheduling, improve the ability of the waterworks to cope with future source water quality and water quality standard changes, and reduce the operation cost. In the layout design, overlapping construction and co-construction of structures saves footprint area while ensures the scale of water production. The concentrated water discharge pipeline makes full use of the existing facilities to save the project cost and shorten the construction period. After completion and operation of the project, the combined process effectively deals with the water quality of different water sources. The conductivity removal efficiency of the membrane process basically stabilizes above 99%, and the effluent quality meets the standard of high?quality drinking water.
