Abstract:
The design scale of the second phase project of a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is 5×104 m3/d. A multi-mode biological reaction tank is adopted in the design and can operate according to various modes such as A-A2/O, inverted A2/O, Bardenpho, side-stream nitrification, side-stream sludge hydrolysis and etc. The actual operation results show that the effluent quality of the project can meet the first level A criteria of the Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (GB 18918-2002) without adding carbon source and chemical agents, and could be better for further improvement.
