- In view of the situation of low temperature and low turbidity of surface water in winter, the ultrafiltration+nanofiltration double membrane system was used in the pilot study to deeply purify the raw water of Liangzihu Lake in Wuhan. The research results showed that although Wuhan is located in the middle of China, the phenomenon of low temperature and low turbidity still exists in the surface water in winter, and the turbidity of the water produced by conventional coagulation,precipitation and filtration process could meet the requirements of the new national standard. However, the contents of UV254 and TDS were still high. After the double membrane deep purification treatment, the effluent turbidity could reach about 0.1 NTU, UV254 was less than 0.010 cm-1, and TDS was about 50 mg/L. Low temperature in winter had little effect on the water purification effect on double membrane system. The UF membrane could keep stable operation for a long time due to the good quality of raw water in low temperature. Because of the good pre-treatment effect of UF membrane, the service time of NF membrane was further extended. In the study period, NF membrane was not washed, but still maintained high membrane flux, and the rise of transmembrane pressure was very slow.
