- Abstract:
- A pyrite mine in Nanjing was listed as a provincial supervision project, due to the manganese, fluorine and ammonia nitrogen pollution caused by the wastewater accumulated in mine subsidence area and the factory. In order to cut off the pollution source and ensure the safety of the downstream water environment, an emergency treatment project was implemented with the treating capacity of 1 500 m3/d. Using a combined process of pre-aeration, primary coagulation sedimentation, secondary coagulation sedimentation, deep defluoridation, and tail water adjustment, the effluent concentrations of manganese, fluorine and ammonia nitrogen were always less than 2 mg/L, 1.5 mg/L and 1.5 mg/L, respectively, indicating a good removal performance. The project adopts group modular design, which has great advantages in the construction time and space, and can provide reference for emergency treatment of sudden water environmental pollution.
