- This paper selected oxidation reduction potential (ORP) as an important evaluation index, investigated the effect of Vallisneria natans on the remediation of black and odorous water and sediment, and analyzed the microbial community of the sediment in the root area of Vallisneria natans by high-throughput sequencing. The detection results of COD, nitrogen, phosphorus in water and TOC and TN in sediment indicated that the ORP in the water and sediment was significantly improved, among which the ORP in the water was increased by approximately 24% and that in the surface sediment was increased by 52%. Vallisneria natans significantly improved the microbial community structure in the sediment, and increased the richness of microbial community. The relative abundance of microorganisms (such as Bacillus, Steroidobacteraceae, Thiobacillus and Clostridium) conducive to the material?energy conversion in the sediment increased significantly.
