- Abstract:
- This paper proposed a systematic whole process design method integrating CAD, ArcGIS and Excel, so as to optimize the design process of municipal rainwater pipe network. The rainwater pipe network model was established through the drawing function of CAD and the powerful spatial analysis function of ArcGIS. The attribute table was generated by merging key nodes, line segments and sub-catchment surfaces through ArcGIS. The table was then calculated by Excel, and the automatic calculation of each attribute information of rainwater pipe section was realized by using the perspective table function in combination with VBA(Visual Basic for Application) programming in Excel software. The design of urban rainwater pipe network system was realized through the combined application of the above software. The results aim to provide reference for the development of rainwater design software.
