- High-quality drinking water refers to the drinking water in the municipal public water supply system that meets the national standard but exceeds them with superior sensory characteristics, enhanced chemical safety, and suitability for direct consumption. Taking a water supply enterprise in Suzhou as an example, the construction path of high-quality drinking water under the background of the new national standard was introduced. The construction path of high-quality drinking water in this enterprise is mainly embodied in two aspects. Firstly, the enterprise’s internal control water quality standards and management methods were formulated. Secondly, the entire process system control is carried from water sources,waterworks, pipeline networks, and secondary water supply to users,emphasizing system security, focusing on control and precision, and improving quality. Achieving high- quality water supply reflects the enterprise’s refined management, where every aspect, from sourcing to production, influences water quality and merits meticulous attention.
