- In order to find out the basic situation and the main existing problems of urban drainage pipe network, formulate the quality and efficiency improvement plans, and construct supporting projects, it is necessary to take the lead in surveying the urban drainage pipe network in detail, and then obtain accurate data comprehensively by online flow rate monitoring, water quality testing and etc.. Combined with the case of the general pipe network survey in a southwest city, the whole process from survey to diagnosis is introduced systematically, the drainage system is quantitatively analyzed, diagnosed and evaluated as a whole. The key points such as the direct sewage discharge point, the mixed junction point of stormwater and sewage pipe network, the intrusion point of external water in the pipe network are taken into account to narrow the scope of the drainage pipe network renovation, and provide important data support for the pipe network renovation design and river management. The goals of basically eliminating black and odorous water bodies, as well as significantly improving the centralized collection efficiency of domestic sewage are gradually realized, thus greatly improving the quality urban living environment.
