- To address the issue of establishing linkage pressure for the fire-fighting stabilizing pump, this paper first defined the function of this pump and then elucidated the relationship between its linkage pressure values. In accordance with the design principles governing fire-fighting stabilizing pump, it was crucial to determine the automatic starting pressure value set by the system, which served as the benchmark for linkage pressure setting. Three methods for establishing the automatic starting pressure value of the system: the static pressure method, dynamic pressure method, and zero flow method for fire pumps were analyzed. Designers must take into account the safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of the pipeline system when making their selection, while also ensuring ease of operation and maintenance. It is advisable to set the starting pressure value of the linked fire pump based on the minimum hydrostatic pressure at the most unfavorable point, and it is recommended to position the fire-fighting stabilizing pump within the fire pumping room.
