- In view of the problems such as insufficient treatment capacity, high operating cost, and tight occupation area of leachate treatment in a landfill in Jiangxi, the distillation denitrification technology is applied to leachate treatment. The combined process of pretreatment, distillation denitrification, A/O, UF, and NF is adopted. Under the premise of tight occupation, the processing capacity of the original biochemical system is increased by 1.5 times, and there is no need to add carbon source, which solves the problem of insufficient processing capacity and high operating cost. The nitrogen removal efficiency of the distillation denitrification process is high, the removal rate of ammonia nitrogen can reach 96%, and the total nitrogen removal rate can reach 95%. After the transformation, the leachate treatment capacity increased from 300 m3/d to 700 m3/d,and the final effluent quality can reach the criteria in table 2 of the Standard for Pollution Control on the Landfill Site of Municipal Solid Waste (GB 16889-2008) (TN<40 mg/L), which has good economic and environmental benefits.
