Abstract:
The Technical Specification for Ductile Iron Pipeline of Wastewater Engineering, jointly issued by the China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization (CECS) and the China Urban Water Association (CUWA), came into effect on July 1, 2021. The regulations provide guidelines for the construction and implementation of ductile iron pipelines in wastewater engineering, covering pipe materials, design, construction, functional testing, and acceptance. They aim to ensure the quality of pipe production, standardize the engineering design, and improve pipeline engineering quality. Furthermore, they promote the use of ductile iron pipelines in the drainage field, set a benchmark for China’s drainage pipe materials, and support the healthy development of the drainage pipe industry.
