- A large-scale water purification plant in Shenzhen has introduced low-temperature vacuum dewatering and drying technology and has operated for over a year. According to the continuing monitoring of the technology data,the characteristics of sludge moisture content, drying efficiency, solid content of filtrate, equipment failure rate and running cost were analyzed and summarized. From the analysis of operational data, it can be seen that the low-temperature vacuum dewatering and drying technology has the advantages of low energy and chemical consumption, good sludge drying effect, environmentally friendly and so on. However, the technology has high maintenance costs.
