- The centralized wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in a complex industrial transfer park with design capacity of 7 000 m3/d for first phase, collects industrial wastewater after pre-treatment discharged from hardware machinery, daily chemical, biopharmaceutics, and paper enterprises in the park for unified treatment. For such low concentration and refractory wastewater, the biological treatment unit of hydrolysis acidification and anoxic/aerobic process, and the advanced treatment unit of Fenton and biological aerated filter (BAF) process, combined with selective physico-chemical treatment process were applied. After stable operation of the system, the effluent quality could meet the first level A criteria of the Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (GB 18918-2002). This paper introduces the process flow, the design parameters of main structures and related commissioning of process, which can provide reference for similar engineering design and commissioning.
