- Abstract:
- To improve the water environment of Hongze Lake and ensure stable water quality on the eastern route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, sewage from Jiangba Town, Huai’an City Jiangsu Province is collected, continuously cross three rivers by inverted siphon pipes and then is connected to the sewage treatment plant for centralized treatment. The underpass length exceeds 1 km. Based on the on-site conditions, the crossing river scheme, water transmission section, construction measures, traction and drag force verification, and implementation effects of the pipeline network are analyzed in summary, which could provide reference for the design and construction of similar ultra-long traction pipes.
