- Abstract:
- The B wastewater treatment plant in Shenzhen has a design capacity of 10×104 m3/d, which includes 7.5×104 m3/d for domestic sewage treatment and 2.5×104 m3/d for industrial wastewater treatment. The total deodorization airflow is 25.69×104 m3/h, comprising 8.47×104 m3/h for domestic sewage, 8.88×104 m?/h for industrial wastewater, and 8.34×104 m3/h for sludge treatment. The odor emissions are in compliance with Technical Standards for Ventilation and Odor Controlling System of Urban Underground Sewage Treatment Plant (DBJ/T 15-202-2020) of Guangdong Province, which represents the most stringent requirement within Shenzhen. Through a comprehensive analysis of the source structures, process collection systems, and terminal treatment devices, an innovative integrated odor treatment process combining two?stage biological deodorization with activated carbon adsorption was implemented. This process was further complemented by an ion air supply system to ensure optimal internal environmental conditions within the box of wastewater treatment plant and to guarantee compliance with the odor emission standard. As a result, the surrounding area achieves a state free of detectable odors. During the operational phase, meticulous management should be implemented based on actual working conditions, and operating parameters should be optimized to achieve an optimal balance between environmental and economic benefits.
