- Abstract:
- The upgrading and reconstruction capacity of a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is 5 000 m3/d in Fuzhou, the effluent standard is required to raise from first level B to first level A criteria of Discharge Standards of Pollutant for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (GB 18918-2002). With limited construction land, the original CASS biochemical tank was transformed into an A2/O tank + secondary sedimentation tank with rectangular perimeter inflow and outflow, and suspended packing was added to the aerobic tank to form a “A2/O+MBBR” composite process. The advanced treatment process of high-efficiency sedimentation tank + deep bed denitrification filter was added after the biochemical treatment process to further remove SS, TN, and TP. The effluent quality after contact disinfection is superior to the first level A limit specified in the discharge standard.
