- With the improvement of people’s living standard, fine drinking water is becoming increasingly popular. However, there are a series of problems within the urban pipe system for fine drinking water in Hunan Province, such as the non-standard operation and maintenance management, institutional defects of supervision, and difficulty in ensuring water quality and safety. Therefore, the Technical Standard for Urban Pipe Fine Drinking Water System in Hunan Province (DBJ 43/T 382-2021) was compiled. The standard has been implemented on May 1, 2022. This paper provides a comprehensive interpretation of the standard, covering its background, compilation purpose and scope of application, compilation principle, basic framework, and main contents, aiming to offer reference for the construction and management of fine drinking water.
