- Abstract:
- The combined process of ozone oxidation, ecological combination filter, integrated vertical-flow constructed wetland was adopted to treat the tail water of a metal surface treatment park wastewater treatment plant. The treatment effects of this process were investigated in summer and winter. The operation results show that the average influent concentrations of COD, NH3-N, TN, and TP in summer were 39.3 mg/L, 1.44 mg/L, 8.61 mg/L, and 0.38 mg/L, respectively, with average total removal rates of 46.3%, 91.7%, 55.2%, and 71.1%, respectively. In winter, the average influent concentrations of COD, NH3-N, TN, and TP were 43.5 mg/L, 1.80 mg/L, 10.14 mg/L, and 0.34 mg/L, respectively, while the average total removal rates were 29.2%, 93.9%, 58.6%, and 76.5%, respectively. In addition to COD and TN, the other indexes of the effluent quality reached the surface water level Ⅳ standard. The total removal rates of COD, Cu, Zn, total Cr, hexavalent chromium, and Ni in winter were lower than those in summer. And a large number of wetland plants died in winter except Arundo donax. The removal of pollution factors mainly depended on ozone oxidation, filter filtration and denitrification, and adsorption and interception of wetland matrix fillers.
