- Abstract:
- The critical reaction conditions for the Fenton process, such as pH and oxidation- reduction potential(ORP), were determined in an industrial park WWTP through experiments. The optimal flow ratio of hydrogen peroxide to ferrous sulfate was established as 1∶13, furnishing a theoretical basis for the design of the precise dosing system. Based on this, a “feedforward + feedback” closed-loop control mode was employed. The dosage of chemicals was adjusted in real time in accordance with parameters like COD concentration and ORP of the influent and effluent, achieving precise control of the Fenton process and guaranteeing the stability and compliance of the effluent quality. The research results suggest that the application of the Fenton precise dosing control system increased the treatment capacity by 13% and reduced the unit cost by approximately 0.671 3 yuan/m3, demonstrating obvious economic benefits. Furthermore, the Fenton precise control system effectively promoted the refined management of chemical dosing in the wastewater treatment plant, enhanced the stability of the effluent.
