- At present, the combined drainage system is still an important component of the drainage system in some urban areas of China. In terms of reducing overflow pollution and improving water environment quality, major cities across the country are committed to adopting measures such as building new sewage treatment plants or terminal pipe interception systems, which have had a positive effect. However, there are still issues such as relatively weak management of facility linkage operation and insufficient effectiveness of drainage systems. This study selects the drainage system of the Chuanhu River basin in the central urban area of Changchun as the research object and constructs a drainage system model. Under different typical rainfall scenarios, the compatibility of various drainage facilities in the research area is evaluated based on the system of sewage treatment plant-sewage treatment tank-sewage pump station-sewage pipeline network in the watershed. Real time control (RTC) strategy is applied to optimize facility control rules based on the current linkage mode of drainage facilities, and combined with the engineering renovation plans, the potential of reducing combined sewer overflow in the drainage system is maximized. This study provides reference for the optimization of the scheduling and operation of interception combined drainage systems in the watershed.
