- Abstract:
- A sewage treatment plant in Chengdu has a treatment of 100 000 m3/d and initially adhered to the first level A standard of Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (GB 18918-2002), the effluent standard of which now upgraded to the Discharge Standard of Water Pollutants for Minjiang and Tuojiang River Basins in Sichuan Province (DB51/2311-2016). The current situation of the sewage treatment plant has problems such as influent TP far exceeding the design value, large sediment content in the influent, and unstable effluent quality. The main process of solid-liquid rapidly separation + MBBR module + denitrifying biofilter + magnetic coagulation sedimentation tank was adopted in the design. After the upgrading and reconstruction, the effluent quality was better than the design standard, with the overall treatment energy consumption of effluent quality only 0.32 kW·h/m3 and the land use index 0.67 m2/(m3·d-1).
