- To address the insufficient wastewater treatment capacity in Xining, a new municipal wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 100 000 m3/d has been constructed. This plant employs an advanced treatment process of pre-treatment + A2O-A + MBR + disinfection. It achieved commissioning in just 88 days, occupying only 2.93 hm2 of land. The effluent quality meets the first level A standard specified in the Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (GB 18918-2002), with treatment cost of 1.16 CNY/m3. This paper provides a detailed analysis of its prefabricated construction methodology, wastewater treatment process, and cost, aiming to offer new insights for the construction and operation of large?scale prefabricated wastewater treatment plants.
