- Abstract:
- The maintenance and repair of large-diameter sewage trunk pipelines in urban areas represents a critical challenge in the current effort to enhance the quality and efficiency of sewage systems. In the rehabilitation project of DN1 200-DN1 600 sewage trunk pipelines along Baozhou Road, Quanzhou, an integrated approach was adopted. By combining such as UV-CIPP, centrifugal spraying for manhole rehabilitation, polyurethane spraying, and high-pressure jet grouting for pipe base reinforcement technology, the project successfully addressed pipeline defects under challenging conditions such as high groundwater levels, soft geology, and confined construction sites. After the repair, the structural defect repair rate of the pipeline reached 100%, the flow capacity increased by approximately 26% compared to before the repair, and the overall airtightness between the pipeline and the inspection well was significantly enhanced. This project avoided the economic and social influence resulting from large-scale road excavation and disruption of social traffic. The comprehensive project cost was reduced by approximately 20% compared to excavation and repair, and the construction period was shortened by nearly 40%.
