- Abstract:
- Addressing the common issues of corrosion aging, crack propagation, and the gradual reduction of structural resistance in drainage pipelines during long-term service, the traditional mortar- spraying rehabilitation method lacks a scientific design and validation for determining the liner thickness. This study examines the impact of liner thickness on the structural performance of full-scale drainage pipelines by comparing the mechanical properties before and after mortar-spraying rehabilitation. The findings highlight the critical importance of optimizing liner thickness to enhance the load-bearing capacity and durability of the pipelines. Specifically, increasing the liner thickness from 33 mm to 45 mm raised the ultimate load capacity of the drainage pipelines from 60.54 kN to 93.83 kN, representing an increase of 55%. Furthermore, the introduced calculation theory of liner thickness could provide a more systematic reflection of the actual load capacity of the drainage pipelines after rehabilitation, offering a scientific basis for trenchless repair techniques.
