- Abstract:
- Aiming at the problems of excessive aeration, high energy consumption and low precision of water quality regulation in the traditional aeration control of wastewater treatment plants, an intelligent aeration system based on time-dimension multivariate analysis was developed by taking a wastewater treatment production line in Shanghai as the engineering object, and the dynamic and precise regulation of aeration volume was realized through the integrated transformation of software and hardware. After the intelligent aeration system was put into operation, the proportion of ammonia nitrogen concentration in the final corridor of the aerobic zone in the biological reaction tank that was controlled below the total value (1 mg/L) reached as high as 98.2% (surpassing the 84.2% before the system was put into operation), which effectively reduced the risk of effluent ammonia nitrogen exceeding the standard. After the system was commissioned, 83.3% of the total values of the actual dissolved oxygen concentration in the final aerobic zone corridor deviated from the target value within ±0.3 mg/L (exceeding the 50.9% before commissioning), and 93.3% of the total values deviated within ±0.5 mg/L (exceeding the 64.5% before commissioning). In addition, the intelligent aeration system achieved a 17% reduction in electricity consumption of the aeration system in the biological reaction tank after the system was put into operation. The system features excellent stability in continuous operation and strong resistance to influent quality fluctuations, with low renovation costs and a short investment payback period. When scaled up and applied to wastewater treatment plants with a treatment capacity of 200 000 m3/d and above, it can achieve an annual electricity cost saving of over 1 million CNY.
