- Abstract:
- To address the advanced treatment needs of fluoride-containing wastewater in the photovoltaic industry, this study focused on a defluoridation station in an industrial park in Anhui Province. Through laboratory bench-scale tests and full-scale production experiments, the defluoridation process and operational parameters were optimized. The two-stage defluoridation process combined with the optimal defluoridation agent (agent A) reduced fluoride concentration from 8 mg/L to below 1 mg/L, achieving a removal efficiency of 93.41%, while decreasing reagent consumption by 19.3% compared to single-stage treatment. The magnetic microfiltration system performed optimally within a pH range of 6.2-6.8. Magnetic seed-enhanced flocculation ensured simultaneous compliance with effluent standards for both suspended solids (SS≤10 mg/L) and fluoride (F-≤1 mg/L). For sludge dewatering, a combined approach of “chemical conditioning + frame filter press + hot air drying” stabilized the moisture content of sludge cakes below 60%. Using the above process and operating parameters, after six months of stable operation, calculating that the direct operational cost of defluoridation station was confirmed at 2.93 CNY/m3 (with chemical reagents accounting for 70.3%), demonstrating both high efficiency and cost- effectiveness.
