- The water supply network, which is the infrastructure of a water system, has the leakage management problems such as complicated leakage detection and high operating cost. Based on this, a hydraulic model was built through the parameters of a pipe network to simulate the hydraulic leakage, the minimum difference between the monitoring data and the simulated data was used to establish the objective function, and cuckoo search algorithm and genetic algorithm were used to optimize and verify the leakage location model, so as to realize the leakage location in the water supply network. The pipe network leakage location model based on cuckoo search algorithm had an accuracy of 74% when setting three pressure monitoring points to locate the leakage node, and approximately 60% when setting two pressure monitoring points to locate the leakage node, both of which had better location performances than that of the traditional genetic algorithm.
