- Abstract:
- Municipal pipeline networks are regarded as the lifeline of modern coastal cities, and their reliable construction and maintenance play a vital role in urban renewal and new urbanization initiatives. However, the current Technical Specification for Inspection and Evaluation of Urban Sewer (CJJ 181-2012) fails to provide proactive guidance for the rehabilitation and maintenance of plastic pipelines. By combining expert questionnaire surveys and maintenance data analysis, this study evaluated the current condition of the drainage pipeline network in Zhuhai and identified the main factors affecting the health of plastic drainage pipelines, such as pipe material quality, construction quality, service age, and soil conditions. In order to conduct the pipeline preventive assessment, a multiple logistic regression method was adopted to analyze the relationship between pipeline defect grades and pipeline attributes based on maintenance data. A pipeline health prediction model was subsequently established, and it could achieve a prediction accuracy of 72.0%.
