- Abstract:
- To facilitate Chinese engineering technicians in better applying European Union （EU）standards and specifications for engineering design in overseas projects, this paper systematically compares the sludge treatment design standards for wastewater treatment plants between China and the EU in terms of sludge treatment process selection, sludge thickening and dewatering, sludge biological stabilization and its pretreatment, sludge drying, and sludge disinfection. The analytical results can provide a reference for relevant engineering practices.
